Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Explain the foundational principles underlying fine motor skill development in children
- Identify developmental milestones and progression patterns in fine motor skills
- Describe diverse factors affecting fine motor skill development and their role in skill acquisition
- Assess and analyze common challenges related to fine motor skill development in pediatric populations
- Apply evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support fine motor skill development
- Develop practical strategies for promoting fine motor skills through informed and reflective intervention approaches
