Content:
• Describe the developmental milestones and progression of grooming and dressing skills in children aged birth to 6 years.
• Identify key performance components and contextual factors that influence independence in grooming and dressing.
•Assess and analyse common difficulties in grooming and dressing using clinical observation, task analysis and carer reports, applying the PEO model to guide assessment and intervention planning.
•Apply evidence-informed occupational therapy intervention strategies to support grooming and dressing skills.
•Develop practical, goal-directed intervention plans in collaboration with caregivers to promote children’s participation in daily grooming and dressing routines.
